All materials used in “Thermodah” heat-insulating and waterproofing roof system are a closed integrated system. Replacement of any materials without “Sarmat” holding company approval is strictly prohibited.
The following materials are integral parts of the “THERMODAH”; heat-insulating and waterproofing roof system:

Vapor sealing shall not be necessarily installed when carrying out repairs or modernization of the roofing. This is defined by a satisfactory technical condition of the roof structure and absence of the water insulation rug damage established by a special technical inspection.

Properties of the prefabricated mix:
|
“Thermolit” has a low density, which allows adjusting the level and angle of the base without producing significant extra loadings on the structure. The mortar is easy-to-use and possesses a high plasticity and stability, which allows producing steep slopes at a time while avoiding the risk of sagging. It quickly and easily tampers the hollows and cavities, which increases the resistance to heat transfer, and possesses high crack growth resistance and vapor permeability. |

Method of application:
Apply the mortar to the base and spread it with a smooth metal float. Otherwise apply it between the guides and a special slat and remove the mortar surplus. The necessary slope angles are established according to preliminary installed gages. Protect the applied mortar from direct sunlight, droughts, high temperatures and low air humidity. A partial use of the fresh screed coat is allowed not earlier than in 48 hours. A full load to the screed coat and further works with new layers application are allowed in 5 days. A direct application of the vapor sealing and waterproofing to the screed coat is permitted not earlier than in 7 days of normal hardening of the mix. The temperature of preparation and application of the mix shall be within 0 … +25 °Ñ.

Grounding

A prefabricated primer that fits a specific type of the vapor sealing material shall be preliminary applied to the base surface.
|
It is prohibited to use “Green oil” (i.e. a bitumen solution in diesel oil) prepared in the field conditions. |

Vapor sealing
|
|
|
For vapor sealing installation we recommend using bitumen-polymer and bitumen materials with reinforcing glass or synthetic base (under STB [National Standards System of the Republic of Belarus] 1107) with a solid tipping on hot or cold mastic.

It is prohibited to use for vapor sealing any roll materials with paperboard substrate or substrates subject to rot and mould.
Installation of “THERMODAH” system without vapor sealing is prohibited.

Roll Materials

|
|
When multilayer roofing is to be installed the bitumen-polymer roll materials used for the top layer of the waterproofing rug shall be produced on polyether, polyester or glass base. We recommend using prefabricated materials with dressing compound for the top layer of the waterproofing rug at the places of abutment. |
