“Sarmat” is the first construction holding in the Republic of Belarus to develop, manufacture and successfully implement effective resource-saving technologies and materials for reconstruction and modernization of modern city infrastructure. The urgency of energy– and resource saving issues, maintenance of ecological balance for providing vital functions of cities require that new practically feasible and energy effective materials are used in construction. Sarmat construction holding company being equipped with modern production, engineering and intellectual resources professionally resolves these problems. In 1994 based on the European experience in heat modernization of existing housing resources our company has developed “Thermoschuba”, a complex system of facade insulation. The application of “Thermoschuba” to facades allows saving more than 40% of energy on heating, improves microclimate, makes a building aesthetically beautiful. To date more than 900 residential constructions and office buildings had been heat insulated using “Thermoschuba” system. The system is widely used by contracting agencies, as well as repair and construction companies. Sarmat holding company developed and implemented innovative mansard construction projects within the framework of reconstruction and heat rehabilitation of residential buildings. Mansard construction allows obtaining extra living space in central districts of the city where the buildings density is pretty high while significantly saving funds on the development of new territories, installation of engineering networks, roads, foundations and supporting constructions. It also allows cutting down expenses on the repair and maintenance of roofs and cold attics, as well as expenses on heating at 8-10%. The development and production of effective insulation for pipeline heat supply systems is one more activity of our company. The application of Sarmat pipes pre-insulated with foamed polyurethane recovers more than 30% of heat loss while allows cutting down the heating main running costs. Today Sarmat has business relations with many big construction companies and contracting agencies, design institutes, research laboratories and municipal organizations of the Republic of Belarus. Our aim is not only to produce high quality materials, but also to develop the construction industry in Belarus by means of implementing the most effective, resource-saving and innovative technologies.
